Our Service will support young people to contact their families, trusted friends and next of kin by interviewing the families and friends who the service user wants to connect with and getting all the relevant information such as contact numbers and addresses.

This step is important in protecting the young person from harm or abuse. Organised visits will be allowed, and the service manager should ensure that the families are acting in the best interest of the service user. Where the service user wants to visit family or friends we will ensure that we know when the family lives.

We will work with families to provide the best support for the your person and connectedness in the community. We believe that this will help the young person to develop social skills and prevent isolation
